Grape And Turkey Salad

Ingredients:

   2      pounds        seedless grapes
   2      pounds        smoked turkey -- diced
   1      large   can   mandarine oranges -- (or 2 small)
   1      can           water chestnuts -- diced
   2      cups          celery -- chopped
   1 1/2  cups          pecans -- chopped
     1/2  cup           plain almonds -- chopped
     1/2  cup           toasted almonds -- slivered
                        lettuce leaves
   1 1/2  tablespoons   curry powder
   2      tablespoons   soy sauce
   1      cup           mayonnaise
                        one large lemon -- Juice of
 

Preparation:

In a large bowl mix grapes, turkey, water chestnuts and celery. In a smaller bowl combine curry, soy sauce, mayonnaise and lemon juice. Mix thoroughly. Add the dressing to the salad and mix until the salad ingredients are fully coated. Chill one to two hours. Spoon mixed ingredients over lettuce leaves and top with mixed nuts. Garnish with cantaloupe slices around the sides, if desired. Feel free to substitute any of the fruits or nuts.
