Ingredients:

     1/2  cup           wish-bone italian dressing
   1      tablespoon    chopped fresh tarragon leaves*
   1      teaspoon      lemon juice
     1/4  teaspoon      ground black pepper
                        assorted fresh vegetables**
     1/2  cup           sliced green onions
                        salt to taste
 

Preparation:

In large salad bowl, blend Italian dressing, tarragon, lemon juice and pepper. Toss with Assorted Fresh Vegetables and green onions; add salt. Cover and marinate in refrigerator, stirring occasionally, at least 1 hour. Makes about 6 side-dish servings.<*Substitution: Use 1 teaspoon dried tarragon leaves. **Assorted Fresh Vegetables: Use any combination of the following to equal 6 cups - broccoli florets, cauliflowerets, sliced red, green or yellow bell pepper, carrots, yellow squash, zucchini or snow peas. HINT: For crisp-tender vegetables, cook vegetables in boiling water about 1 minute, then immediately drain and rinse with very cold water until completely cool.
