Endive-Snd-Orange Salad

Ingredients:

  11      ounces        mandarin oranges in light syrup -- undrained
   1 1/2  tablespoons   white wine vinegar
   2      teaspoons     olive oil
   2                    taspoons dijonmustard
     1/4  teaspoon      sat
     1/4  teaspoon      pepper
     1/8  teaspoon      garlic powder
   4      cups          torn curly endive
     1/4  cup           thinly sliced red onion -- separated into
                        -- rings
 

Preparation:

Drain oranges in a colander over a bowl, reserving syrup Add vinegar, olive oil, mustard, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to syrup; stir with a whisk. Combine oranges, endive, and onion in a bowl; add dressing, tossing gently to coat.
