Cornbread Salad 2

Ingredients:

  1                     c.cornmeal
  8                oz.  sour cream
  2                     eggs
     1/2                c.milk
  1                     T.sugar
                        Combine all ingredients and bake as you --
                        about 30
                        would for regular cornbread
                        minutes.Cool and  crumble.
  1              large  tomato -- chopped
  1                     green bell pepper -- chopped
  1              small  onion -- chopped
  1                     c.sweet cubed salad pickles
  1                     T.sugar
  1                     c.mayonnaise
  1                     c.Cheddar cheese -- grate
 

Preparation:

Combine crumbled cornbread,tomatoes,onions,bell pepper,and sweet pickles in a bowl.Mix mayonnaise and sugar together;add to cornbread mixture.Pour into serving dish;top with cheese. Chill for 2 hours,and serve cold.
