Carrot-Pineapple Salad

Ingredients:

   3                    carrots -- shredded (about 1
     1/2                cups)
   1                    granny smith apple -- chopped (about 3/4
                        cup)
     1/2  cup           chopped pineapple -- (fresh or canned,
                        -- drained of
                        juice)
     1/4  cup           shredded cheddar cheese
   1      teaspoon      lemon juice
     1/3  cup           salad dressing
     1/4  cup           slivered almonds -- toasted
 

Preparation:

In mixing bowl, combine carrots, apple, pineapple and cheese. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Add salad dressing. Stir to coat. Cover and chill until ready to eat. (Add milk if dressing becomes too thick). Before serving, sprinkle on toasted almonds. Approximately 5 minutes.
