Pork And Cabbage With Noodles

Ingredients:

   2      tablespoons   oil
   1      cup           chicken broth
     1/2  pound         pork strips
   4      ounces        fine noodles
   3      cups          cabbage -- shredded
     1/2  teaspoon      salt
   1      cup           water
     1/4  teaspoon      pepper
 

Preparation:

Heat oil in wok. Add pork strips and stir-fry about 3 minutes. Stir in cabbage, continuing to stir-fry about 3 minutes. Add water and broth. Bring to full boil. Stir in noodles, salt and pepper. Cover and steam for 10 minutes or until most liquid has been absorbed by noodles. Stir occasionally. You can also substitute turkey, chicken or beef in the place of pork. You may also add shredded carrots or a vegetable like broccoli or cauliflower.
