Ingredients:

     1/2           cup  olive oil
  3                     anchovy fillets -- optional
  2        tablespoons  lemon juice
  1           teaspoon  Worcestershire sauce
  1              clove  garlic -- halved
  10              cups  torn romaine leaves
  1                cup  prepared garlic-flavored croutons
     1/4           cup  Parmesan cheese
                        coarse ground black pepper -- to taste
 

Preparation:

Combine oil, anchovy fillets, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and garlic in blender container. Blend until smooth. Cover; refrigerate until serving time. Mix romaine, croutons and Parmesan cheese in large bowl. Stir dressing and pour over salad; toss to coat. Season with pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
