Honey Crunch Popcorn

Ingredients:

   3      quarts        popped corn -- (3 L)
     2/3  cup           butter -- (150 ml)
     2/3  cup           Honey -- (150 ml)
   1      cup           chopped nuts: almonds -- (250 ml) pecans, or
                        peanuts
     1/2  cup           chocolate or butterscotch chips -- (125 ml)
 

Preparation:

Prepare popcorn according to package directions. In large bowl, blend popped corn with nuts and chocolate or butterscotch chips. Set aside. In a medium microwaveable bowl, blend butter and Honey. Microwave on high until butter is melted. Drizzle warm honey-butter mixture over popcorn mixture. Mix well. Spread popcorn mixture in a thin layer on a buttered cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 10 - 15 minutes, until crisp.
