Rice Cooker Herbed Rice Pilaf

Ingredients:

   1      Cup           long-grain rice -- uncooked
   1      Cup           celery -- chopped
     3/4  Cup           onion -- chopped
     1/4  Cup           butter or margarine
   2 1/2  Cups          water
   1      Package       dry chicken noodle soup mix
   2      Tablespoons   parsley -- fresh
     1/2  Teaspoon      thyme
     1/4  Teaspoon      rubbed sage
     1/4  Teaspoon      pepper
 

Preparation:

In a large skillet, cook the rice, celery and onion in butter, stirring constantly, until rice is browned and add to rice cooker. Stir in the next six ingredients. Turn on cooker and cook til it shuts off. Remove lid and let stand for 10 minutes.
