Rice Au Gratin

Ingredients:

   1      cup           hot cooked rice
     1/2  cup           cheddar cheese -- grated
   1      tablespoon    butter or margarine
     1/8  teaspoon      curry powder
     1/3  cup           bread -- crumbled or cubed
 

Preparation:

Toss rice with half of the cheese. Spoon into buttered baking dish; top with remaining cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese melts. Meanwhile, melt butter; stir in curry. Add bread crumbs and brown lightly. Remove rice from oven; sprinkle with curried crumbs.
