Ingredients:

     1/2  cup           fine noodles -- broken in piec
   2      tablespoons   unsalted butter
   1      can           chicken broth -- or beef broth
     1/3  cup           water
     1/2  cup           long-grain rice -- raw
 

Preparation:

In saucepan, brown noodles in butter; stir often. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 20-25 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
