Browned Rice Pilaf - Mountain Fuel

Ingredients:

     1/3  cup           long-grain rice
   1      tablespoon    butter or margarine
     2/3  cup           cold water
   1      can           mushroom stems and pieces -- 2oz, drained
   2      teaspoons     instant chicken bouillon granules
     1/2  teaspoon      dehydrated parsley flakes
     1/4  teaspoon      dehydrated minced onion
     1/8  teaspoon      garlic salt
     1/8  teaspoon      dried basil -- crushed
     1/8  teaspoon      paprika
 

Preparation:

In medium skillet saute rice in butter until brown. Add rest of ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce flame. Cover and simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is tender.
