Sausage Brunch Casserole

Ingredients:

   1      pound         sausage
  13      ounces        pet evaporated milk
   1 1/2  slices        bread -- cubed
   5                    eggs
   2      cups          cheddar cheese -- grated
                        salt and pepper to taste
 

Preparation:

Prepare evening before.Cook sausage and drain thoroughly on paper towels.Beat the eggs and evaporated milk slightly.Add sausage,cubed bread and cheddar cheese.Pour into 9 x 9" casserole.Cover with foil.Refrigerate overnight.Bake uncovered for 45 minutes or until firm in a preheated 350 degree oven. Onions,green peppers and mushrooms can also be added.
