Easy Sauteed Mushrooms

Ingredients:

     3/4         pound  fresh mushrooms -- sliced
     1/2           cup  diced green pepper
  3                     green onions with tops
                        finely chopped
  1              clove  garlic -- minced
  2        tablespoons  butter or
                        margarine -- melted
     1/2      teaspoon  dried whole oregano
  1               dash  salt
  1               dash  pepper
 

Preparation:

Saute vegetables and garlic in butter 8 to 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Stir in oregano, salt, and pepper. MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: Combine vegetables, garlic, and butter in a 1-1/2-quart baking dish; cover with heavy-duty plastic wrap. Microwave at HIGH for 4 to 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring once. Stir in oregano, salt, and pepper. NOTE: Easy Sauteed Mushrooms may also be served as a topping for steak, chicken, or hamburgers.
