Taco Buns

Ingredients:

  1                cup  granburger
     3/4           cup  hot water
     1/2           cup  chopped onion
                        corn oil
  1                can  tomato sauce -- 8oz
     1/8      teaspoon  garlic powder
  1                cup  crushed corn chips
  8                     hamburger buns
  2               cups  shredded lettuce
  1                cup  diced tomato -- 1 large tomato
  3             ounces  american cheese -- shredded
                        mayonnaise
 

Preparation:

Rehydrate gran burger in hot water for 10 minute. Saute onions in a little corn oil. Add rehydrated gran burger, tomato sauce, and garlic powder. Mix well and simmer 5 minutes. Stir in crushed corn chips. Spoon mixture onto toasted bun halves. Top with tomato, lettuce, and then cheese. Spread mayonnaise on top half of buns. Place on sandwiches.
