Rigatoni Combination

Ingredients:

     1/2  pound         Rigastoni or other pasta
   1                    onion
   1      clove         garlic
     1/2                green pepper
   1                    kidney beans    (16 ounce can)
   1      small can     tomatoe sauce   (6 ounces)
     1/4  teaspoon      salt Optional
                        black pepper to t aste
   1      t             easpoon soy sauce
     1/2  teaspoon      chilli Powder
 

Preparation:

Cook pasta according to package directions.In skillet saute onion garlic and green pepper in oil 4 to 5 minutes or until soft.Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer severel minutes.Drain pasta when done and stir into sauce.Serve as is or add 1/2 cup crumbled tofu or low fat cottage cheese on each serving I have this recipe for a long time dont remember where I got it but when we want to be vegetarian for I while I use this recipe it very good if you like kidney beans
