Preparation:
Cook bacon until crisp. Drain and crumble. Set aside. Reserve drippings in pan and set aside. Add beans to boiling water to warm. Drain. Add water chestnuts. In pan over medium heat, mix together ketchup and vinegar. Stir until blended. Spoon dressing onto beans and sprinkle with bacon. Toss and serve.
