Shells With Broccoli Tomato Sauce

Ingredients:

   2      slices        bacon slices -- chopped
   1      medium        onion -- chopped
   1      jar           tomato sauce -- (26-28oz)
  20      ounces        frozen chopped broccoli
   1      pound         shell pasta
   1      cup           2% low-fat milk
     1/4  cup           grated parmesan cheese
 

Preparation:

1. Cook bacon and onion in large pot over medium high heat until onion is tender, about 5 minutes. Add pasta sauce and bring to a boil. Stir in broccoli, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes. Meanwhile, cook shells according to package directions. 2. Stir half-and-half into sauce; heat through. Serve shells tossed with sauce and sprinkled with Parmesan.
