Creamed Green Beans and Mushrooms

Ingredients:

  1              pound  fresh whole green beans -- cut diagonally in
                        -- half
  3               cups  sliced fresh mushrooms -- (about 1/2 pound)
  2        tablespoons  butter or margarine
  1                can  {10 3/4 oz.} condensed cream of chicken
                        -- soup
     2/3           cup  light cream
  1         tablespoon  lemon juice
     1/2           cup  sliced almonds -- (for garnish)
 

Preparation:

1. Cook beans in boiling water 15 minutes, or until tender; drain. 2. Brown mushrooms in butter in a saucepan. 3. Add soup, cream, lemon juice and beans; heat, stirring occasionally. 4. Garnish with almonds.
