Sausage And Pepper Pasta

Ingredients:

   1      package       fresh fettuccine
   1      dash          oil
   1      pound         sweet italian sausage -- sliced into 1/2
                        -- inch pieces
   1 1/2  pounds        red bell peppers -- chunked
   3      medium        onions -- sliced
   3                    garlic cloves -- finely chopped
   1      tablespoon    olive oil
     1/2  teaspoon      oregano
     1/4  cup           water
 

Preparation:

Add fresh fettuccine to large pot of boiling water with oil. Cook al dente. Drain. Rinse. Heat olive oil in heavy skillet over medium - high heat. Add sausage. Brown. Add water. Cook a few minutes. Remove sausage and drain on paper towels. Pour off water from skillet. Place back on heat. Return sausage, onions, peppers and oregano to skillet. Stir and cook until well mixed and heated throughout. Serve over fettuccine. Approximately 15 minutes.
