Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 gallon green beans
6 tablespoons sugar
4 tablespoons salt
1 cup vinegar
Preparation:
Snap beans and rinse.
Cook beans on top of stove 20 minutes, put into hot jars.
Combine sugar, salt and vinegar. Cook until hot. Pour over green beans in jars.
Seal jars.
Makes 1 gallon.
