Ingredients:

  1              pound  ground pork
  2        tablespoons  apple cider vinegar
  2        tablespoons  water
  1         tablespoon  vegetable oil
  1                     garlic clove -- minced
  1         tablespoon  paprika
  1 1/2      teaspoons  chili powder
     1/2      teaspoon  dried oregano
     1/2      teaspoon  ground cinnamon
     1/4      teaspoon  ground cloves
     1/4      teaspoon  ground cumin
  1 1/2      teaspoons  salt
     1/2      teaspoon  black pepper
 

Preparation:

In a large bowl combine all the ingredients; mix until thoroughly combined. Cover and chill for 3 to 4 hours. Divide the mixture into 6 equal 1/2-inch thick patties. Cook in a large nonstick skillet over low heat for 6 to 8 minutes, or until no pink remains, turning halfway through the cooking. Note: Chilling the raw meat mixture for a few hours before cooking allows it to absorb the seasonings more thoroughly, giving your finished sausage patties really rich flavor. Makes 6 patties.
