Preparation:
Cream shortening in a mixing bowl. Add liquid sweetener, egg, vanilla and
lemon peel. Beat well. Combine flour,
baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Drop by teaspoon onto an
ungreased cookie sheet. Press flat with a fork.
Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown. Makes 3
dozen cookies. Pecan halves may be pressed into the top of each cookie
before baking. |
