Preparation:
Heat oven to 375°. In large mixer bowl combine brown sugar, butter, egg and
lemon peel. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy (1 to 2
minutes). Reduce speed to low; add all remaining ingredients except
stir-ins.
Beat until well mixed (1 to 2 minutes).
By hand, stir in desired stir-in from above.
Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 to 14 minutes or until lightly golden brown on edges. Cool 1
minute before removing from cookie sheet. Cool completely. |
