Ingredients:

   2      cups          all-purpose flour

     1/2  teaspoon      cloves
     1/2  teaspoon      ground nutmeg
   2      tablespoons   cocoa
   1      cup           pecans -- chopped

Preparation:

Makes 6 dozen cookies 1. Cream together butter, honey and sugar until well blended. 2. Add egg and applesauce; blend thoroughly. 3. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and cocoa; mix into applesauce mixture. Fold in pecans. 4. Drop by tablespoons onto greased baking sheet; bake in preheated 350 F. oven 10 to 12 minutes. 5. Remove from pan; cool on rack.
