Connie's Spanish Peanut Sandies

Ingredients:

   1 1/2  cups          unsifted flour
   1      teaspoon      baking powder
     1/2  teaspoon      salt
   1      cup           firmly packed light brown sugar
     3/4  cup           margarine
     3/4  cup           peanut butter
   2                    eggs
   2      tablespoons   milk
   1      cup           spanish peanuts
 

Preparation:

Sift flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside. Beat sugar, margarine and peanut butter with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs and milk, continue mixing until smooth. Stir in flour mixture until well blended. Mix in peanuts. Drop dough by teaspoonful 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
