Preparation:
In a medium bowl, combine oats, 1/2 cup brown sugar, butter, flour, egg, milk and almond extract; stir in chocolate chips and 1/2 cup pecans. Spread batter evenly in a greased 8 inch square microwave safe baking dish.
For topping, combine remaining 1/4 cup brown sugar and remaining 1/2 cup pecans in a small bowl; sprinkle over batter.
Microwave on high power 3 minutes; rotate dish. Cook 3 to 5 minutes longer or until sugar topping is melted. Cool completely. |
