Ingredients:

   1      pound         unshelled shrimp
     3/4  cup           butter
     1/4  cup           oil
   2      cloves        garlic -- (chopped)
   1                    bay leaf
     1/2  teaspoon      basil
     1/4  teaspoon      oregano
   1      teaspoon      rosemary
     1/2  teaspoon      salt
     1/4  teaspoon      cayenne pepper
     1/2  teaspoon      paprika
     1/4  teaspoon      black pepper
   1      teaspoon      fresh lemon juice
   4      cups          cooked white rice
 

Preparation:

Triple the amount of herbs if using fresh herbs. Melt butter and oil. Add spices and shrimp. Let stand in refrigerator for 30 minutes. Saute or cook in 350-degree oven, just until shrimp turn pink. Serve over rice, with about an eighth of the marinade per serving.
