Preparation:
Fry diced bacon in a skillet until crisp; drain on paper towels and set aside. Place cream cheese, cheddar cheese, half and half, Worcestershire sauce, mince onion, mustard, salt, and Tabasco in the Crock-Pot. Set on Low and allow cheese to melt, stirring occasionally for about 1 hour. Taste and adjust seasonings. Then stir in bacon and serve directly from Crock-Pot.
Serve with fruit slices such as apples or pears or serve with French bread slices.
Tip: If serving with fruit slices, dip fruit slices in lemon juice to prevent browning. |
