French Dip Roast

Ingredients:

                        -betsy qualls
   1      large         onion -- quartered and sliced
   3      pounds        bottom round roast
     1/2  cup           dry white wine -- or water
   1      package       au jus gravy mix -- 3/4 oz
     1/8  teaspoon      seasoned pepper
 

Preparation:

Place onion in crockpot. Put roast in crockpot. In a small bowl mix wine (or water) and au jus mix and seasoned pepper until blended. Pour over roast. Cover and cook until tender 10 to 12 hours on LOW.
