Ingredients:

                        northwest fresh sweet cherries -- well chilled
   8      ounces        cream cheese
     1/4  cup           sour cream
   2      tablespoons   dry white wine
   1      tablespoon    sugar -- up to 2
   1      teaspoon      lemon peel -- grated
   2      tablespoons   candied ginger -- chopped

Preparation:

Makes 1 1/2 Cups 1. Wash cherries, leaving stems on. 2. Soften cheese to room temperature. 3. In small mixing bowl, combine with remaining ingredients except cherries; beat until light and well blended. 4. Serve as appetizer or dessert, using fresh sweet cherries with stems for dippers.
