Chunky Chile Cheese Dip

Ingredients:

  2               cups  mayonnaise
  3             ounces  cream cheese -- softened
  2               cups  shredded american cheese
  8             ounces  canned diced green chiles
     1/2           cup  finely chopped onion
  2        tablespoons  finely chopped jalapenos
  1              clove  garlic -- minced
 

Preparation:

In large bowl, with electric mixer at medium speed, blend mayonnaise and cream cheese until smooth. Add cheese, chiles, onion, jalapeno peppers and garlic; beat at high speed for 3 minutes. Chill at least 1 hour to blend flavors. Serve as a dip with VEGETABLE THINS. Makes 5 cups
