Classic Salsa

Ingredients:

2 cups chopped -- peeled tomatoes
1 medium celery stalk -- diced
1 medium onion -- diced
1 medium green pepper -- diced
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
1 medium green chile -- seeded and chopped
 

Preparation:

Combine all the ingredients and blend well. For a smoother texture use a food processor and blend till desired consistency. Chill overnight.Serve cold as a dip or an accompaniment with your favorite Mexican dishes. Makes about 4 cups
