Preparation:
Mix together all ingredients for pudding and pour into oiled Steaming Pai l and cover tightly. Put into kettle of hot water, so that water comes 2/ 3s of the way up side of pail. Maintian simmering heat to keep the water temerature at a simmer. Have addition hot water available in another pan to add to pot to maintain water level. Steam for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Re move from pail and invert onto a pretty serving plate. Make hard sauce by mixing sugar, lemon and butter. Add water a little at a time and mix wel l. Warm. |
