My husband and kids can't leave this alone!! I have to freeze it as soon as a batch is done, or they will eat themselves sick. You can use any type of meat - I use venison. This is a sweet teriyaki recipe, not hot! I hope you enjoy it.

Ingredients:

1/8 Teaspoon pepper
1/2 Teaspoon ground ginger
2 Tablespoon brown sugar
1 Tablespoon honey (microwave to make mixing easier.)
1 clove garlic, crushed (roughly 1/2 tsp)
1/4 Cup soy sauce
1 pound lean meat, thinly sliced (3/16 to 1/4 inch thick or ground meat)

Preparation:

In a small bowl, combine all ingredients except meat. Stir to mix well. IF USING SLICED MEAT: 1. Place meat strips in a tightly covered glass, stoneware, plastic or stainless steel container. 2. Generously spread or spoon marinade on both sides of meat. 3. Marinate from 6 to 12 hours in refrigerator, stirring occasionally, keeping the mixture tightly covered. 4. Dehydrate/smoke/cook which ever you prefer. 5. Eat - in moderation! IF USING GROUND MEAT: 1. Throughly mix marinade and meat. 2. Form into stix, rounds or other desired shape. 3. Dehydrate/smoke/cook which ever you prefer. 4. Eat - in moderation!
