Preparation:
The night before you make the pancakes, combine the flour, warm water, and starter until blended and smooth (DO NOT use a metal spoon or bowl). Cover with a cloth and set aside in a warm place.
Make a batter by stirring in all the other ingredients, mixing well but not hard. Cook on a hot, lightly greased griddle. Let bubbles form on top before turning. If batter seems too thick, thin with a little milk. |
