Preparation:
fry/toast a few papads( make them ready to eat).
Boil a few potatoes separately. Take them out and cool them. Crush them a bit.
In a karahi(wok/pan), heat some vegetable oil, add a pinch of jeera, when they starts spluttering add some garlic-ginger paste,a diced onion, a split green chilli,
fry them together for 2 minutes, when the onion turns glossy, add the boiled poatoes, some haldi, garam masala, jeera and dhaniya powder. fry well for 2 minutes, then add 2 cups of waters.When it cmes to a boil, add the papad, add salt(a pinch lesser than taste, as popadams contains some salt in them)cover and leave for 2 minutes.
Your aaloo-papad is ready!!. Serve hot with roti/puri/naan.
