Thai Steamed Herbed Mussels

Ingredients:

2 kilograms mussels
1 cup basil leaves
4 medium green onions
-----dipping sauce-----
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 piece lemon grass -- optional
2 tablespoons fish sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
2 bunch coriander leaves -- chopped
3 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
 

Preparation:

Open the mussels by steaming them along with the basil and green onions. Blend the ingredients for the sauce with enough warm water to make a dipping sauce and serve with the mussels.
