Escalloped Oysters En Casserole

Ingredients:

1/3 cup margarine or butter -- melted
1/4 pound Ritz crackers -- crushed lightly
1 pound oysters -- shucked, drained, liquid reserved
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon salt and pepper taste
 

Preparation:

1. Butter a 1 quart casserole dish 2. Mix oleo or butter with crackers until well distributed. 3. Place 1/2 of cracker mix into casserole. 4. Spread oysters over crackers. 5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper , and pour milk and 1/4 cup oyster liquid over all. 6. Sprinkle with remaining cracker mixture. 7. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes.
