Preparation:
1. Clean the green chiles. Dry well.
2. Pour 2 tbsp. oil in the frying pan and fry the green chiles for two minutes. Remove and cool.
3. Pour 2 more tbsp. oil in the pan and fry the mustard seeds, fenugreek, black gram, asafetida and turmeric. Remove and cool. (Keep the strained oil aside.)
4. Grind with green chiles, tamarind, and salt. Top with the strained oil. |
