Easy Beer Bread

Serves: 1 loaf
Heavy bread great with spinach dip
 

Ingredients:

3 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
4 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
6 tablespoons sugar
1 can favorite beer
 

Preparation:

Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl, pour in one can of beer, mix well. Spoon into a greased loaf pan. Pour 1/4 cup melted butter over the top of mixture. Do not mix. Bake at 325 for 40-60 min. or until top in cracked and brown. Cool on side and cut into squares after cooled. Serve with spinach dip. (Recipe on the back of dry Knorr Veg. Soup mix package).
