Skillet Snow Peas with Celery

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 cup water
1 pound fresh snow peas
1/2 cup chopped green onions with tops
1/4 cup diagonally sliced celery
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
 

Preparation:

Combine first 5 ingredients, stirring well, set aside. Wash pea pods; trim ends, and remove any tough strings. Saute peas, green onions, and celery in oil in a large skillet 2 minutes. Stir in cornstarch mixture; cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes or until thickened.
