Preparation:
*substitute: 1 cn (16 ounces) sliced beets, Drained. heat until hot.
Prepare and cook beets as directed. Cut into julienne strips. Mix pear nectar and cornstarch in 1-quart saucepan. Stir in honey, gingerroot and salt. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Serve over beets. |
