Fruited Acorn Squash

Ingredients:

1 small acorn squash (about 1 pound)
3/4 cup unpeeled -- chopped cooking apple
1/4 cup chopped orange sections
1 Tablespoon unsweetened orange juice
2 Teaspoon brown sugar
2 Teaspoon margarine -- melted
 

Preparation:

Cut squash in half lengthwise; remove seeds. Place cut side down in a shallow baking pan, and add boiling water to a depth of 1/2 inch. Cover and bake squash at 350 F for 35 minutes. Turn cut side up, and set aside. Combine remaining ingredients; spoon into squash cavities. Cover and bake an additional 15 minutes.
