Preparation:
Rub skin of chicken with 1 cut clove of garlic, then put all garlic and bay leaves in cavity. In bowl, stir together butter, salt, pepper, sage, thyme, oregano and marjoram. Spoon 1 tablespoon mixture into cavity. Brush skin with butter mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Baste. Makes 4 servings. |
