Ingredients:

ground turkey breast |

frozen chopped spinach -- 10oz, thawed,drained |

quaker oats -- quick or old fashion uncooked |
1/2 |
cup |
finely chopped onion |
1/2 |
cup |
shredded carrots |

egg whites -- or |

egg -- lightly beaten |

fat-free milk |

Italian seasoning blend |

Preparation:
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine all ingredients; mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into 9 x 5 inch loaf in 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Bake 1 hour or until thermometer registers 170 degrees F and center is no longer pink. Let turkey loaf stand about 5 minutes before slicing. 8 servings.
Cook's Tips: Lean ground beef may be substituted for ground turkey breast. Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until thermometer registers 160 degrees F.
Substitute 1/2 cup finely chopped green or red bell pepper for spinac |
