Preparation:
Beat egg white with salt until stiff but not dry. Mix sugar with spices; gradually beat into egg white. Fold in the finely chopped walnuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto well greased baking sheets. Top each with a walnut half. Bake at 250 degrees F. for 35 to 40 minutes or until crisp and dry. Remove to wire rack to cool. Store in tightly covered container. |
