Original Ranch Beef And Noodle Skillet

Ingredients:

1 package hidden valley original ranch dressing mix -- (1 oz)
1 pound ground beef -- cooked and drained
1 jar sliced mushrooms -- drained (4.5 oz)
8 ounce wid egg noodles -- cooked and drained
8 ounces sour cream -- i used low fat
3/4 cup milk -- (used 2%)
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 bunch optional green onions
 

Preparation:

In saucepan combine all ingredients, except cheese. Heat thoroughly. Sprinkle with cheese. If desired, garnish with sliced green onions. Rich's Note: I remember when the only salad dressings served in family restaurants were French, Italian, and Thousand Island. Every once in a while, if you were lucky, they would have Blue Cheese or Oil and Vinegar. Then one day Ranch dressings appeared. It was as sudden as the appearance of zip codes were back in the early 60's. Hidden Valley Ranch was one of, if not *the*, first Ranch dress
