Ingredients:

1 cup flour*
2 tablespoons sugar*
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder*
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 Cup margerine*
1/4 cup milk
---Fruit Filling
1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg*
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup water
4 cup blackberries -- blueberries or raspberries*
1 tablespoons butter
 

Preparation:

Dough l egg slightly beaten Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together. Stir in milk and egg just until moistened. Place cooked fruit into 9 inch square pan. Top with biscuit topping. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes Fruit: Combine cornstarch, nutmeg, cinnamon and brown sugar. addwater. Cook and stir until thickened. Add berries and butter serveral additional minutes.
