Ingredients:

2 Teaspoons Butter
1 cup Onion -- Finely Chopped
8 Ounces Fresh Mushrooms -- Sliced
2 Teaspoons Flour
15 Ounces Tomatoes, Canned
1 cup Hot Water
17 Ounces Tomato Sauce
1/4 Teaspoon Bouillon Granules -- Dissolved
1/2 Teaspoon White Pepper
1 Teaspoon Sugar
2 Cups Heavy Cream
 

Preparation:

Saute onions and mushrooms in butter for 5 minutes or until onions become translucent. Add flour, mixing well. Cook until bubbly. Add hot water, tomato sauce, bouillon and pepper, stirring well after each addition. Cook until soup bubbles. Remove from heat; add sugar and cream, mixing well. Heat through, adjusting seasonings to taste.
